... but my mother always told me never to talk to strangers...

I've been here (D-Land) for about two months now, and I've gotten a pretty good idea of who updates and who doesn't. I've also figured out most of the radnorites who aren't on the diary-ring list (Amanda Thai being one of them). Ergo, being the dork that I am, I've figured out who to check for updates and who not to (i.e., I don't check those who don't update).

I've figured out that I know approximately 75-80% of the people on this list, "know" meaning that I know their name, and if I saw them in the hallway, I'd know who they were. I actually talk with, on a semi-regular basis, 40-50% of the people.

In any case, that leaves maybe 30% of the people on this list who I know who I don't talk to (which, btw, includes some of last years seniors who went off to college and, therefore, are no longer around to talk to), and 20% of people who I don't know at all.

Which, I find, particularly interesting. I find a lot of these people to be rather interesting based on their D-lands alone, yet I don't know who they are at all (I am such a stalker, hehe).

Which leads me to believe that there must be some others in the same boat - they read my D-land, and don't know me. Hmmm. Or, I'm on their 30% list; they technically know me, but they've never spoken to me.

So, I'd like to get to know some of these people. I mean, in real-life "know" these people. Me? I have many names, but the one I go by most frequently happens to be "Wallbert". I have a rather ridiculous, black mop on my head for hair. I'm often seen wearing a long, dark coat of some sort (I have a couple), or some pleather suit jacket (which I take a great deal of pride in; it was a steal at $10 from some thrift store). My face may be unshaven, or I may decide to shave it tomorrow. I've developed somewhat of a stomach, but I don't mind; I feel like a Bodhisattva and I rub it for good luck.

If you ever see someone matching my description roaming the halls of Radnor High, studying in the library, eating lunch, etc., and you're feeling rather brave, feel free to catch my attention and say "Hi!", or "Hey, I know you! You're DumbGenius! I'm so-and-so", etc. I promise you, I won't bite (as long as you don't). Or send me an e-mail, or an IM, or whatever. Or, if you're shy and don't wish to greet me, that's fine - if you see me roaming the hallways, at least you'll know who writes this boring thing.

Speaking of boring, I'm boring myself ("but if you're bored, then you're boring..."), so I think I'll stop writing now.

Tah.
