Well, the guy told me he'd know by Friday, noonish.

Apparently, he's still thinking it over, as some new candidates have emerged and he feels obliged to see them all.

Oh well. As long as I'm not entirely out of the running, this pleases me.

While it's on my mind, I just thought I'd point out that, in San Francisco, nobody uses their turn signals. I'm not even exaggerating. NOBODY uses their turn signals, except perhaps the tourists. I think it's kind of like San Francisco's form of secret handshake, or something; if the guy in front of you doesn't use a turn signal, you know he's a local. If he does, he's an ignorant tourist and should be avoided at all costs.

Finally, the movie Saved is fucking phenomenal. Really, I only went to see it because I felt obliged to see Macaulay Culkin's second adult performance, having seen his first, Party Monster, with Erik sometime last year. Undoubtedly, part of the reason I loved it so much is because it's all crap I've witnessed first hand (to an only slightly less degree) and because it was very entertaining, and while it will obviously be very offensive to certain individuals (because its message will be misinterpreted), at least that's not what it set out to do. Erik has informed me that it doesn't appear to be presently playing in the Philadelphia area (limited release?) but, hey, if you get the chance to watch it, know that it has the Walbert Stamp of Approval. Then again, so did The Day After Tomorrow... but only because the particular audience I saw it with made it so very entertaining.
