Excuse My Brain-Deadness

Written on 2003-03-28, at 2:42 a.m.

Meh. It is 2:45 on a Thursday (Friday?) night, and I just got home. Good times, good times.

Jill passed her driver's test this morning (this being the second time she's taken the test, which is absolutely wonderful. Celebrated said event by driving to my house to help me prepare my basement for painting, then went to Willows.

Ich liebe Jill.

My dog ran away from home at one point during the day, and was not retrieved until six hours later. What she did during that six hour interval, I will never know, but I am glad that she's okay.

The first Senior Musical rehearsal today was intriguing (I probably just spelled that wrong but I am too tired to go back and fix it, or see if I really spelled it wrong). I was hoping to get the part of the guy who's so crazy that people think he's a drug-addict, but apparently I was crazy enough to be casted as THE drug-addict, who has the name "Moondog". Excellent. Today was spent choreographing (see previous note on "intriguing") the big opening number to the musical, "Do You Want to Dance." I love how the girls were taught this really complicated, intricate bit while Mr. McKenna assumed that all guys are bumbling dolts with no agility whatsoever, and, subsequently, gave us "couch dancing" which was "dancing" which involved us being seated the entire time. Good times.

Speaking of good times, after musical stuff, Erik, Min, Jill and I got together and watched "Get Real", which would be my second gay romantic comedy/melodrama ("Trick" being my first). Kalamazoo.

Then went to Minella's and had big meal. Yay.

Excuse my brain-deadness. I had planned on painting my basement all night when I got home, but I'm too brain-dead to even write this, let alone stay up and paint. So I'm going to sleep.

Oh, and on one final note: Welcome back, "Bean." Welcome back.
