Finally had my first Astronomy Lab this evening. The guy teaching it is the sort of over-the-hill (he worked on the Pioneer Venus Probes back in the 70's) uber-dork who can't help but laugh uncontrollably at his own jokes, and he's a riot (not so much because of his cheesy jokes but because of his character, which he's more than willing to laugh at). The guy's promoting fun, first and foremost, and it seems as though this lab was worth the wait.
I woke up with a sore throat this morning and I can already feel myself coming out of it. God bless my big-burly-Asian immune system, since Ericson had something similar and it took him over a week.
The heating system in my house gave up the ghost yesterday, and god knows when we're getting it fixed. Before, my house was always cold because my dad is cheap and never turns it on; now, we can't even turn it on if we wanted to. Oi, gavult...
I'm off to find some blankets. TTFN.
