Of bleach and ling ling

Bleach. The bane of every goth's wardrobe.

The other day, while defrosting my freezer, I had to sterilize the bloody, stone basement floor using bleach, and, little did I know that some of it splattered onto my pants. It was one of my favorite pairs of pants, too; these cargo pants with the pockets neatly sewn in and out of sight. (Discussing the fashion-ability of my clothes; I am a gay man.) Anyway, the cuffs on these pants are now covered with white splotches, which I"m going to have to cover up with a sharpie marker when I get home. Sharpie looks odd, yes, but not nearly as odd as white spots.

In other news, today is the first day of October. My monthly Septa pass ran out yesterday, so, starting today, my mother will drive me to the bus. This has a few distinct advantages: I can wake up an hour later, since I don't have to take the train (though I still have to take the bus that connects to the train) and wait a half hour between my connection. Also, this is much more cost efficient.

Of course, there are several disadvantages as well. An hour later, my brother and sister are awake as well, and I have to deal with them, which I'd rather not do first thing in the morning, and Ling ling will be driving me, and for the eight minute ride she will incessantly. nag.

I'm beginning to think I'd much rather have to continue waking up early and leaving early, but, that's not an option so c'est la vie.

John will probably accuse me now of being French.
