Now, see, Gephardt wasn't my top choice. But I still liked the guy, and I had a great deal of respect for him. He was the Democratic House leader for a really long time, he has an awful lot of experience, and the guy knows his stuff. I agreed with a lot of (but not all) of what he said, and I liked how he said it...
... but any respect I once had for him is now lost.
Hell, who-wants-to-marry-a-Presidential-candidate Kucinich is seeing this through, and he doesn't have a hope in the world. Gephardt might have stood a reasonable chance in the Midwestern states, after Iowa, but now...
Eh. This certainly shows a lack of commitment, and if he lacked that commitment to begin with, well, good riddance to bad rubbish. I really would have liked to see how it all played out with him, though, but it's too late for that now.
